The following age groups apply for 5K and half marathon runs: 14 and under, 15-19, 20-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-64, 65-69, 70-74, 75-79, 80-84, 85 and older. There is not a separate division for walkers.

Our age group awards are typically a custom event pint glass.

There are 6 aid stations on the half marathon course, roughly every two miles. We’ll have water, Gatorade, and a portable toilet at all aid stations. Select aid stations on the half marathon course will have Gu Energy Gel. There will be food such as bananas, bagels, pretzels, and similar items at the finish line.
The half marathon course will be open until 11:00 p.m., which is a 4 hour limit. We don’t currently offer an early start option for any of the distances.
Absolutely. The 5K features an out and back near the finish line, and the half marathon course is open to vehicles, and there are plenty of places to stop along the course to cheer on your runner, but we recommend cheering from Inspiration Point hill between miles 8-9.
Strollers and dogs are allowed in the 5K only. Please start with the stroller/dog at the very back of the pack, and yield to all non-stroller/pet participants.

Please be aware that all the roads are open to traffic, and in some places the shoulder of the road, where you will be running, is a bit narrow.

We want all participants to be safe and enjoy the race, which is which we ask for those with strollers to start at the back and use extra caution.

Yes and no… All finishers in the half marathon receive a finisher medal. 5K finishers will get a high five from our crew at the finish, but we don’t have finisher medals for the 5K.
